Photo Share!!

For my Photo Share project, I decided to use Picturetrail. I have used Picturetrail before and I always have fun creating slide shows! This source is very helpful and easy to use! My friend introduced me to this website back in high school when we had to do a project over the past 4 years in school. All you have to do is upload the pictures you want, rearrange them, add a title, background, and captions! Picturetrail also gives you the link so you can upload it onto your Facebook or blog! :) I like Picturetrail because I can upload pictures, create a slide show, and send it to friends and family! I don't have to upload each picture individually so it saves A LOT of time! The only suggestions I have for using Picturetrail is to make sure all of your photos are small enough to upload, otherwise it may take longer and you could lose some of your pictures. Have fun and be creative! :)

RSS Feeds: Really Simple Syndication

I really enjoyed using RSS! Once again, this resource was new to me. I had heard of RSS before, but I was not sure how to use it. I had a lot of fun looking through websites and adding them to my Google Reader. It was very easy!! At first, I found websites about technology and education. Then I had the opportunity to find websites that truly interest me. As most of you know, I am a huge animal lover so I thought it would be a great idea to include the PETA website. I also included world news and of course, PEOPLE magazine! I love to keep up on my gossip! :)
I will definitely keep this website! It will be easy for me to keep up to date on everything! RSS Feed is very interesting and beneficial. I was not expecting this website to be as easy and helpful as it is. There were some websites I went to that did not have the RSS icon, but I was able to find resources that covered the same topic. Overall, this was another great technology discovery! This class has helped me tremendously! I am looking forward to see what other resources are in store for us this semester! :)
