Podcast
Podcasting can be very helpful once you know how to use it! I was completely new to podcasting, and at first I was nervous about completing this assignment. For my podcast I used Audacity. I like Audacity because it is free, simple, and it gets the job done! Once I opened Audacity for the first time I played around with the different effects. I recorded myself many times just for fun so I could get the hang of it! I reccomend doing this because it makes life so much easier! After I finished my podcast I had a hard time locating the mp3 file. I downloaded LAME and everything was set, but I could not find the file! However, after searching on my lap top I finally found it and everything worked out! Dana's blog was very helpful when it was time for me to upload my podcast to my blog. On her blog she has a youtube video that explains how to upload your podcast to your blog. THANKS DANA! I reccomend looking at this video- it will save you a lot of time!! Overall, I am glad that I completed this project. Before this class I had no idea what a podcast was or how to make one. Now that I know how to make one, I am sure I will use Audacity again in the future! :)

Hey you did a really nice job on your blog! I loved how you opened with their theme song! That was such a great idea! Thank you so much for telling all of us about the video on Dana's blog! I am for sure going to look at that because I had to upload my podcast using a different program. Anyways, I am glad you got it to work finally and great job!!
ReplyDeleteYou did great with your Podcast! I am a fan of "Friends" as well! I didn't see the last couple of seasons, so I'm glad to hear that Ross and Rachael ended up together. Also, I love how you added the theme song to your Podcast! :) I found Dana's Podcast very helpful, too! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat podcast (even though I now have 'Smelly Cat' stuck in my head- lol)! I also am a huge Friends fan! I don't have any of the seasons on DVD, but I sometimes record them when I need a laugh! I thought you organized your information well, and it was a great idea to open with the theme song.

Good job with your podcast! I am a fan of friends yet I did not know all the facts you shared about each character. I thought you had really good information and it was easy to follow you from point to point. Also, liked how you had part of their theme song playing to open the podcast.

I still havent completed my Podcast because i havent had time but i also have been pretty scared about doing it. I think i will use the site you used because you made it look pretty easy!
